— HINDU DEMOCRATIC CLUB OF AMERICA
Rooted in dharma.
Fighting for equality.
Hindu Americans have built, healed, innovated, and led across every sector of American life. We are here to ensure their rights, dignity, and cultural identity are never diminished — in policy, in law, or in public life.
OUR MISSION
We believe every Hindu American deserves to live and thrive in this nation free from prejudice, discrimination, and cultural erasure — while proudly contributing to the American dream.
— OUR FRAMEWORK
Our Four Pillars
01
Civil Rights Protection
Advocating for legal protection against hate crimes, workplace discrimination, and bias targeting Hindu Americans in any form.
02
Cultural Representation
Ensuring Hindu traditions, festivals, and perspectives are respected and accurately represented in American civic life and media.
03
Democratic Engagement
Mobilizing the Hindu American electorate, supporting candidates who champion our values, and building lasting political power.
04
Coalition Building
Partnering with interfaith and multiethnic allies to fight all forms of bigotry and advance a truly pluralistic America.

— THE CHALLENGES WE FACE TOGETHER
Issues We Are Fighting
Anti-Hindu Bias and Hate Crimes
From vandalized temples to targeted harassment, Hindu Americans face growing hostility. We push for federal recognition of anti-Hindu hate as a distinct civil rights concern and stronger enforcement of existing protections.
Workplace Discrimination & the 'Model Minority' Trap
Being labeled 'model minorities' masks real discrimination Hindu Americans face in promotions, hiring, and DEI frameworks. We advocate for fair, nuanced inclusion policies that recognize intra-community diversity.
Cultural Misrepresentation in Education & Media
Hinduism is routinely misrepresented or caricatured in school curricula and media. We work to ensure accurate, respectful portrayals that reflect the world's oldest living tradition with the dignity it deserves.
Immigration Backlogs and H-1B Inequity
Indian-origin Hindu Americans face decades-long waits for green cards — the longest of any nationality — despite contributing enormously to the American economy. We champion fair immigration reform.
Religious Accommodation
Hindu Americans deserve full religious accommodation under American law — not as a privilege, but as a right. We fight to ensure every Hindu can observe their faith without compromise in the workplace, schools, and public spaces.
